We bring you good news, people of Castlegregory! Maura Cronin and Eileen O’Grady have volunteered to run the Summer Festival. They deserve a lot of credit and a big thank you from all the people in the parish. They didn’t just complain because we weren’t going to have one, they volunteered to take charge. Thank you, ladies! We would hope that if they ask for help, you will oblige.
As for the rest of the summer the Community Council has an event or festival planned for every weekend. Come along to any and/or all events and enjoy yourselves. 2018 will be the year of “The Summer-Long Festival”.
More good news! The “wavy wall” in the West End Hall will not be waving anymore. It has been fixed – hooray. Everyone can start using the hall again.
