To all members of the community who have known for many years about the “moving” wall in the West End Hall, I would like to put your minds at ease. The issue is being addressed. The structural engineer was called and he is sending specifications to our local builder to correct the situation after which he will sign off on it. Taking into consideration health and safety regulations and insurance issues, the hall will be closed until the repair work is finished. I regret any inconvenience this might cause, but I am sure that you will rest easier knowing that it will be safe for the children and any others using it.
Thank you to all those who helped and contributed to the Storm Festival Dinner. Without you it wouldn’t have been a success.
